As we celebrate the end of 2018, we are proud of the many successes that happened throughout the year 2018 Year in Review. It’s been an incredible journey and we are looking forward to raising the bar once again in 2019.
The growth and expansion of our organization is the result of the commitment of DataFactz’s team to excel and contribute to our customer’s needs and priorities by providing industry-leading data analytics services. The diversity of our employees is essential to our success in Big Data, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence technologies focusing primarily on: Data Engineering using Apache Spark, Hadoop, Talend and Tableau, Big Data Analytics & Data Engineering, and Data Mining & Machine Learning.
We extended our BI, Data Science and Engineering business services to numerous clients this past year. To name a few, we have worked with the largest seller and producer of audio entertainment, information and educational programming, global provider of financial services technology, and an American gaming and hospitality company. We also continue to work with a telecommunication company, an American multinational retail corporation, the largest food distributor serving military commissaries and exchanges in the US, a worldwide distributor of medical supplies and others. Also, we strengthened our relationships with a privately held non-profit national insurance and financial services organization, a health insurance agency, the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States, a global professional services firm, and the largest foodservice distributor in North America.
This year we’ve traveled all over North America to showcase our solutions, discuss the future of analytics and data management with the industry’s top professionals from around the world and network with companies that continue to drive the use of Big Data and Business Analytics every day. DataFactZ built and strengthened relationships during the following events: Microstrategy World in Las Vegas (January 15-17, 2018), Hortonworks Partner Kick Off (PKO) in Scottsdale, AZ (January 19, 2018), The 5th Annual Big Data & Business Symposium at Wayne State University, MI (March 22nd – 23rd, 2018), and Strata Data Conference NYC (September 11th – 13th, 2018)
Company outings brought us together to celebrate the small and big wins. We were proud to be part of the cricket games and thanks to the dedication of the players & support given from the cheering team, we took home twice the winning prize for both tournaments offshore and onsite. The summer wound down with a great picnic fellowship, boat tours, and a barbeque. Our cider mill trip was no exception to the great memories that we collected as a team. Let’s not forget about the exquisitely “scary” Halloween party that was a blast with the competitive games and spooky outfits. The gratitude and happiness that the holiday season brought were inspiring; from the holiday party to appreciation gift exchanges and thank you cards, you couldn’t stop the smiles.
Lastly, as far as our contributions in the community we continue to proudly support The Ennis Center for Children, working with abused or neglected children in Michigan for more than 39 years. Thanks to our team for helping provide holiday cheer to those in need.
